Before Your Surgery Checklist

Follow these guidelines the day before your surgery to ensure your safety and that your procedure goes smoothly.

You can Pre-Register by clicking the Pre-Register link to the left.

If you do not register on line, a health history nurse will call you prior to your surgery to collect information about your health to expedite your admission process.

If you have not registered on line and have not received a call by 2:00 PM the day before your surgery, please call us at 626-445-4714 and ask for the Pre-OP department.

Please arrange in advance for a responsible adult to drive you home and remain with you for the first 24 hours after surgery. Due to the sedation you will receive, you cannot drive yourself home.  For your safety, you cannot take taxis or any public transportation unless accompanied by a responsible adult.  Your surgery will be cancelled if these arrangements have not been made.  Again, this is for your safety.
